Hello android aficionado’s! (and soon to be … )
My name is digitalfemme (carmen in rl) and I am here to make you laugh. We all love to laugh, right?
On Sept. 22, I started playing around with some green shapes that somehow transformed themselves into our beloved android. Okay, not really. The shapes needed a bit of my mouse manipulation.
But hmmm, my brain started working (it does that every once in awhile). Since I love creating cartoons that make statements about the world and anything in general, I got this idea of creating android cartoons for all of you.
I will be creating one (1) funny cartoon a week day when I get the chance and will be sending you a link to your weekly “android funny”. I hope you also bookmark the site so I don’t have to feel like I’m spamming you.
I plan to make the what’s up, android site, a place where you regularly visit, if only to see the funny android cartoon-of-the-week day of the moment.
I will also be sharing the site with other non-android types because I feel that laughter is universal and you don’t have to be passionate about android just to get the android jokes. PLUS, it’s about making a statement about android and we want these statements to reach mainstream. We already know the power and beauty of the platform anyway. We just have to get others to believe it, because let’s face it …. the more mainstream android gets, the more money you’ll all make .
I hope you visit the site regularly and I hope you share with me which android cartoon you found most funny.
I will be needing content for the site so don’t be surprised if I contact you directly asking for an interview, your opinion on something etc …
Also, if you know of any android related meetups, events, parties, excuses for alcohol consumption get-togethers, etc .. please let me know so I can tweet about it, promote it on the site and basically, BLAST it out in a social media kind of way.

That way, you can focus on developing amazing android apps and leave the PR, marketing, promo, ungeek stuff, to me!
What do I ask for in return?????? Heh heh heh … let’s see. Here’s a list of things I would LOVE for, in return.
1. Opportunity to BETA test any app for valuable feedback.
2. Free promo items you happen to acquire through your event hostings (t-shirts, pens, etc…). I can wear these and take photos and promote them on the site.
3. A free press pass, journalist pass etc .. to any android related event that you happen to be in charge of (or you can connect me to the right people who can get me in) – again, another way to promote android etc …
4. Ideas and content for the site.
5. Share the site with people you think could use a laugh.
