The tablet world has started to see an onslaught of devices running on Android. Naturally, Sascha Pallenberg of Netbooknews.com, “the king of netbooks” as the phrase was first coined by Robert Scoble a.k.a. Scoblezier, is on top of everything netbook and android.

We caught up with Sascha at this year’s SXSW Digital Interactive, sitting against a wall next to a power outlet just outside of Exhibit Hall 3. What was Sacsha doing? Blogging of course!

In our mind, Sascha had the best business model ever developed by a blogger:

1. Move out of a country that back then, was a bit slow on accepting the notion that anyone who had a passion for anything could just set up a site and talk about it. Actually, much of the world was like that.

2. Create a blog, not only in your mother language but in the global language of choice.

3. Move into a country where your passion *products* are manufactured.

4. Team up with great people who share in your enthusiasm.

We’re sure there are other successful bloggers out there with similar or different stories but we don’t really know them personally. Sascha, we do. In fact, it was Mr. Pallenberg that made it possible for us to attend SXSW and most especially, the Team Android Event (more on this event later).

What was rather interesting for us was the opportunity to record a conversation that Sascha and Robert were having just outside on the patio of Lustre Pearl. It was rather dark but we managed to catch ALL of their candid talk on mobile and tech relevant topics. Robert was also capturing this conversation using CinchCast.

Despite the never ending list of invites to all the cool SXSW parties our sources found out that Sascha was also there on business. Obviously. After digging deeper and stalking, bumping into Sascha every now and then we were able to find out who Sascha was meeting up with and why. Alas, we can’t share that here. But what we can share is another candid video of Sascha after he realized Foursquare had just received an update.

Sascha will also be keynoting at this year’s DroidCon Berlin this coming Thursday, March 24!
